Description

Nano is a portable detector for real-time measurement of micro and nano particles and main pollutant gases concentration (NOx, COx, ozone).

Nano, completely conceived and designed by ALITEC, was selected by the Italian Ministry of Innovation as a technological italian excellence and it participated in the "Italia degli Innovatori"exhibition at the Italian Pavilion of Shanghai Expo 2010.

The detector has small size and weight because, thanks to a new technique, ALITEC was able to significantly increase the instrument sensitivity to obtain, in real time, a highly selective measurement of submicron particles. In its more advanced version, Nano is also integrated with innovative sensors that measure in real time the major air pollutant gases concentration (eg CO, NOx, SO2, ozone) and it is integrated with data acquisition systems that are modular and adaptable to different communication way (GPS, UMTS, WiFi, WiMAX).

Nano can simultaneously acquire measurements of dust concentration, of the main pollutants and of boundary data (eg temperature, humidity, etc.) depending on the location and time. The collected data can be stored on a central server and processed in order to produce detailed reports.
