ALITEC works in the field of research and innovation mainly applied to the environmental sector, renewable energy and safety.

ALITEC team consists of physicists, engineers and computer scientists with proven experience, gained in prestigious Italian and international research centres.

ALITEC has scientific contacts and collaborations with many Italian universities (Pisa, Florence, Siena, Trento), with Enel Research Centre, with the National Research Council (CNR) and with many others international research centers (Cambridge University, Imperial College, YaleUniversity, Caltech , Berkeley, etc).

ALITEC offers its qualified expertise and its know-how in the scientific fields of mechanics, electronics, optics and software, assisting companies of medium and large sizes in the design and development of highly innovative systems.

At the same time, ALITEC devotes itself to the conception and development of projects of a strategic nature for company development and growth.

In addition to the continuous technological development of its products, ALITEC is currently involved in the research and development of solutions that include:

• an original system for the instantaneous supply of hot and cold water . With this system you get a whole new approach to use of hot water, saving energy, installation and running costs between 50% and 80%
• a sensor that can assess the structural solidity of rolling stock bogeys (the lack of this structural solidity was the underlying cause of Viareggio train crash)
